Took this out to dig up some stubborn rocks and clay, and the blade cut through like butter without jarring my hands at all. The handle design really does save your knuckles when you're heaving that lever.

My knuckles are still intact after a full morning of digging, which is a first for me with any post hole digger. The handles never pinched or slammed together, even in rocky clay, and the wide blade bit in way faster than my old one ever did.

Bought this to replace a rusty old digger and the difference is night and day. The offset handle design actually keeps my knuckles clear when I'm forcing it through clay, and the blade cuts a clean hole instead of mushing everything. Two fence posts in and my hands aren't wrecked.
